Sales have begun for Zekkei Properties' Fenix Furano development in Hokkaido. The ski-in ski-out Niseko apartments are available through Hokkaido Tracks Real Estate.
Furano's first major condominium development by Zekkei Porperties is now on sale through Hokkaido Tracks Real Estate.
Fenix is a ski-in ski out serviced apartment building located in front of the Kitanomine gondola station.
Known for its pristine landscapes and lavender fields, the area boasts some of the world's finest alpine slopes, regularly hosting international ski and snowboarding championships.
Zekkei Properties Managing Partner Jeanette Hall said there was "unsatisfied demand" for high-end accommodation in the area.
"We see excellent growth opportunities in Furano," she said.
"We designed the apartment units in a flexible multi-key configuration to cater to the seasonal patterns in order to maximize rental returns for our owners."
Due for completion in summer 2020, Fenix will feature 33 full-service units, ranging from hotel-style rooms to three bedroom apartments and penthouses, offering immediate access to all village amenities.
More than half of the units have already been sold, with a number of others under offer.
Hokkaido Tracks Real Estate Furano Sales Consultant Scott Tovey said many buyers were purchasing their second ski property in Japan, after experiencing success with their Niseko investments.
"They see the potential of both rental yield and capital appreciation in this growing four season's tourism market,” he said.
